Immediately after the Kiel Week, we sailed the Kiel races of the 12mr Trophy on the 'Flica II' we supervised. The regatta, which is only a milestone on the way to the 2019 World Cup in Newport, was well organized and had strong wind conditions in the truest sense of the word. 11 of the classic yachts from all over the world (including New Zealand & Australia) took part in the event and not only collected points for the coming year in New York, but also important experience.continue reading →

Kiel Week 2018

As every year, there is a lot to do on the water during Kiel Week, with the small difference that we did not take part in regattas, but rather sailed the fjord in cruising mode. With the 'Prima' from Futura-Yachtsystems we took a little break and marveled at the races up close. In choppy seas, we enjoyed the comfortable properties of the variable-width catamaran - best maneuverability without leaning.
