Close to the equator in front of Africa is the beautiful area of the Seychelles. For JTC we went from Praslin to the diving paradise over the Christmas holidays. In a week of sailing we saw picturesque bays and the concentrated beauty of the underwater world - even without diving equipment. Stingrays can already be seen in the harbor and along the way there are lots of reef sharks, manta rays and turtles. Andaman Sea

With the start of the local winter we were drawn to the Far East in the Andaman Sea. The plan was 50 days (5 crews of 10 days each) sailing in the area on the eastern side of Phuket. The area is not exactly known for prestigious regattas, for good reasons. In terms of wind technology, there is usually nothing to little going on there during the main season.
